Sunday School

sunday school

The Shiloh Worship Centre Sunday School Department is blessed and honoured to share with you our dynamic and exciting Sunday School Ministry.

We currently have three classes which nurtures age groups between 4-16 years. Our teaching styles vary from discussion to role play for personal understanding and development of each child. Our goal is to ensure that all children reach their full potential spiritually, emotionally and physically. The team currently consists of five dynamic and committed teachers and two trainees. We firmly believe that all teachers must be saved and that their lives should portray godly and consistent examples. Our teachers are skilled in teaching the word of God in its simplest form, making the lessons practical for all age groups. We aim to make our Sunday school inviting for all children and believe it should be a positive learning experience through the word of God. In doing so we are constantly seeking ways of improving our delivery and keeping things in line with the Bishop's vision of investing in young people.

Our Sunday school has been operating for a number of years and is a prominent and effective part of our community. Children are constantly attracted to our Sunday school and their skills and talents are displayed on occasions such as Christmas galas, Easter performances and other musical events.

It is our desire to see all children grow into men and women of God by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. We pray that their light will shine among their peers and that they will be a pillar of strength in the community. It is also our prayer that their dreams and aspiration will be realised as they become positive role models to counteract some of the negative things that are happening to young people today. Children are an heritage of the Lord and we endeavour to train them in the way they should go. Be assured that they are in capable hands!
